Jason 2026 (One PC)

Jason 2026 is CGG GeoSoftware’s flagship seismic-inversion and quantitative-interpretation (QI) suite for the exploration and development geoscientist. From wavelet estimation through pre-stack simultaneous inversion to earth-model-driven depth conversion, Jason turns 3D seismic and well data into calibrated volumes of impedance, elastic properties, and rock/fluid attributes ready for reservoir characterization and prospect ranking.

All Jason modules are unlocked in this build: InverTrace Plus simultaneous inversion, RockTrace joint elastic/petrophysical inversion, Largo geo-statistical inversion, Wavelets, AVO Attribute Extraction, StatMod / FunctionMod / RockMod facies and rock-physics modelling, EarthModel FT depth conversion, MCMC geo-statistical inversion, PowerLog Pro petrophysics integration, PetrelLink, and the full MCPU parallel-compute add-ons.

Key features

  • Pre-stack simultaneous elastic inversion (InverTrace Plus) with full uncertainty quantification.
  • Joint rock-physics + geo-statistical inversion (RockTrace, StatMod, FunctionMod, MCMC) for facies and reservoir property volumes.
  • Wavelet estimation, AVO attribute extraction, and QC across pre-stack and post-stack workflows.
  • EarthModel FT model-building for time-to-depth conversion and depth-domain inversion.
  • PowerLog Pro / GeoSoftware Core integration — petrophysical logs, sample_project, and cross-plotting inside the workbench.
  • Petrel link and RESQML export for round-trip with the wider interpretation and modelling stack.
  • MCPU / MCMC parallel-compute add-ons scale inversions to full 3D volumes on modern multi-core workstations.
