Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, and protect your information.
Who We Are
Petroleum Softwares (petroleumsoftwares.store) sells digital software licenses for petroleum engineering software. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information We Collect
When you make a purchase, we collect your email address and IP address, plus the on-chain transaction hash of your crypto payment. We do not process or store credit card, debit card, or bank account details — we accept cryptocurrency only. If you use a third-party on-ramp (such as MoonPay, Ramp, or Transak) to convert fiat to crypto before paying us, that provider handles your card and identity on their own servers, not ours.
We use cookies to maintain your shopping cart and login session while you browse the site.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and deliver your software license purchases, provide customer support, send order confirmations and license delivery emails, and improve our website and product offerings.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Because we accept crypto only, no card processor is involved in your transaction, so no card-network company receives your data from us. We share your email with our email-delivery service (used to send order confirmations and license files). On-chain transaction data (wallet address, amount, tx hash) is by nature public on the blockchain.
Data Retention
We retain order and account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies required for cart and login functionality. These are necessary for the site to work and do not track you across other websites.
